By 2025, if you’re in a room with investors, AI is likely at the center of the conversation. Over the past two years, Podium has evolved from “messaging tools for local businesses” to a fully integrated AI platform designed to streamline and elevate business operations. I played a key role in guiding the creative direction of this transformation, helping shape how Podium communicates its shift from traditional tools to cutting-edge AI solutions.

“Meet Jerry”

What started as a suite of AI features evolved into fully autonomous AI Employees. No longer just tools to simplify your work, these AI agents were now capable of performing complex tasks and engaging directly with customers on behalf of businesses. This resulted in the creation of the 'Meet Jerry' video, which I had the privilege of directing and producing, bringing this groundbreaking shift to life in a way that resonated with both our audience and the brand’s future vision.

AI Features

The first step in our journey was to introduce the powerful new features being integrated into the platform. Part hype, part demo, this video was crafted to highlight the tools we knew would deliver the most value to our customers. I directed and produced the video, ensuring that both the excitement and the functionality of these features were clearly communicated.

AI Logo

Amidst the company’s shift toward becoming AI-focused, there was an idea to incorporate AI directly into the logo. However, we felt this approach didn’t align with the brand’s long-term vision. Instead, we developed an alternate logo for specific use cases, alongside a unique mark to represent AI in contexts where a traditional logo wouldn’t fit. This approach allowed us to seamlessly integrate AI into the brand’s identity without compromising its core elements.
